My first Zomato review after they have acquired Urbanspoon! It’s been awhile since I’ve been on here. It almost felt strange coming back. But it’s good to be back after a long break!! There’s lots of exciting news to share but first and utmost I’d like to introduce my then girlfriend but now my fiancée to the blogosphere. We’ve been sharing lots of food adventures since day 1 (as you can tell from previous blog posts) and hope to do so in the future to come.
As a foodie, of course I had to integrate some sort of “food” in my proposal. It took awhile to think of what and how to do this but finally I had the perfect plan…
The concept was perfect, I integrated her favourite matcha macarons from L’Opera Patisserie into the bouquet (special order, of course to make it em’ extra big). And since my fiancée was not too particular about flowers, I opted for artificial flowers (that’ll last a lifetime). It was just a matter of executing it. So I had my friends at Fuzzi Moments whip this up and you can guarantee they deliver above expectations!
Since I’ve made this post to be exciting news, there’s some new and coming soon restaurants I’ve passed by and this should be exciting to try in the coming months.
Strike has now 3 locations in the Lower Mainland with the newest addition being in the Aberdeen Food Court. They offer authentic Taiwanese sandwiches but don’t expect sandwiches to be cheap. A good meal around $10.
This is not your typical sandwich, it’s got 4 slices of toast and in between each layer it’s stuffed with just the right amount of ingredients. We both loved it!
For those who have not been to Continental Mall, Deer Garden Signature is no longer there. It has been moved to Union Square on Capstan Way. This place called “Tasty Rice Noodles” should be opening its doors soon.
Noticed this change next to my hair stylist, what used to be a cake café (on Hazelbridge Way) is now turning into a Mango Mama Café. Potentially a yummy dessert place?
That’s about it for now. Until next time. 🙂
