Recently McDonald’s just came out with a new twist to their World Famous Fries and a bit of Quebec style, POUTINE! Something more Canadian at last. You know how in Asia, they have all those specialty item menus in McDonald’s. Well it’s finally CANADA’s turn! Poutine is one of my guilty foods, so it was an automatic must try! The box was nicely packaged.
Upon opening the packaged box, I was rather disappointed to see the box only half full. Actually, it was less than half full. The gravy was also on the bottom of the box, rather than on top. Looks like McDonald’s employees had never eaten a poutine, where gravy is supposed to be the last thing you put on top. There were, however, lots of cheese curds which didn’t get melted because the gravy was not hot enough or rather on the bottom. For $4.xx Canadian, I honestly expected a bit more.
