So earlier this year I had the opportunity to visit Taipei. If you’re a foodie and you haven’t been to Taipei, you’re definitely missing out! I’ve had so much food in Taipei that I just don’t know where to start. So this is one of the many. For those visiting Taipei, you will most likely come here. This was a little food cart underneath the Taipei Main Train station.

Taipei Underground Street

The funny thing about Taipei is that there are underground streets. Literally, blocks and blocks of boutiques and shops underground!

The streets are so long, it’s possible to walk from one train station to another underground.

Green onion pancake

Anyhow, my girlfriend introduced me to this place that sells amazing pancakes. I wouldn’t call them pancakes, they’re more like Taiwan’s version of a Roti.

They are soft, fluffy and chewy. Very similar to a Roti. However, not your healthiest snack because it was very oily.

The taste, superb! If you like that chewy texture, this is to die for! Just writing this post made me hunger for one.
