This mexican fast food restaurant is located in downtown Kamloops inside Lansdowne Mall. I passed by London Drugs to get something for the girlfriend and passed by this place. So, we decided to stop by here for lunch before we headed back to Vancouver.

This place feels just like a fast food joint with ordering at the counter and finding a table.

I would say this place is happier than McDonalds. It’s colourful inside and out.

We were starring at what figures we could recognize on the ceiling. It was an interesting way of entertaining ourselves before our food arrived.

Most fast food places would call your number or that you would stand there to wait till your food arrives. But, not here! Your food is brought out to you from the server. They match your number and give you your order. I could get use to this!

My girlfriend got the beef taco for $3.79 and made it a meal for another $3.39. The taco was filled with ground beef, cheese, lettuce, and red sauce all wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla.

The taco was decent size with lots of fillings. My girlfriend thinks it is comparable to Taco Time but bigger in size.

It’s not a combo without a drink. Oh, and the mexi fries tasted just like mexi fries.

I got something more adventurous. The BIG Froggy Burrito. It was BIG and HOT! It’s a giant tortilla with beef, beans, sauteed onions and peppers, mexican rice, sour cream, cheddar cheese and B.F.B. sauce. This had a choice of beef, chicken, or vegetarian. In fact, all of their burritos and tacos could be made vegetarian. Just ask!

This thing was steamy hot to the last bite. It was filling and saucy. One thing that I did want more was the meat! But I could feel that I’d be stuffed if they had put in anymore fillings. It was perfect size for a lunch meal.

And if any sauces were not enough, you could choose to add them at your own discretion. I’m sure hotness is also a dictionary for the Mexicans. So, there were hot peppers and hot sauce to fill your desire of hotness.

The staff there were friendly and helpful. I could almost say they have better service than McDonalds. They have asked for combo and if we needed this, or that. They’d sure make a good sales person. And that’s it for our last review in Kamloops. Until next time.
